Advertising Compliance is a compliance and governance consulting firm that ONLY focuses on the advertising of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and regulated health services.  With over 35 years experience in hospital and industry, Peter Yeates provides customised out-sourcing to ensure that your advertising stays innovative whilst maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, codes, guidelines and polices.

Prior to founding Advertising Compliance, Peter Yeates worked with medicines, medical devices and health practitioners for over 35 years providing a strong understanding of both commercial and professional needs. Previous management and director roles in the industry include Compliance, Medical affairs, Medical information, Medical safety, Regulatory affairs, Reimbursement and Quality. Peter has been responsible for company promotional review and has participated in many Promotional Complaint Committees for both the Code of Conduct (MA) and Code of Practice (MTAA) and inter-company promotional issues.

 

Following graduation from University Peter was employed as a hospital radiochemist being responsible for the manufacture and clinical diagnostic use of radiopharmaceuticals.  Whilst at St Vincent’s Hospital he completed research in the radiolabelling of monoclonal antibodies for tumour diagnosis at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and was awarded a Master of Pharmacy in 1989. He later moved to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and was responsible for the manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals for positron emission tomography (PET) using the ANSTO medical cyclotron in accordance to GMP requirements.

Peter has a Bachelor of Pharmacy (University of Sydney), Master of Pharmacy (University of Sydney) and a Masters of Drug Development Science (University of NSW) and has previously been a University lecturer on Radiopharmacy and Regulatory affairs.
